Abatement is total tree removal. Cut down, clean up, and grind or remove stump.

Elimination of structural faults such as crown imbalances, rubbing branches, etc. Also encompasses head back, tuck back, and clip back.

Trim away the majority of all deadwood, dying and diseased branches throughout the tree's canopy

Involves a light pruning, to the periphery of the tree in order to maintain natural shape or form.

Removal of lowest lateral branches back to their source on the main trunk, to enable access or sight lines to remain clear.

An economical means of dealing with tree remnants. The stump is ground down to a few inches below grade, and will eventually decay away.
